How could I have missed that!! But with the first one wasn't experiencing anything, maybe because I just logged on to the server. With the second file I was eperiencing it, although I logged of when I copied the file. It was on full health, hunger down to 4 bars (4 bars left) saturation gone.
Edit I'm so sorry..... forgot the fact that I forgot to get the stuff from my enderchest. I used it to get my tools back, must have eaten then:S
Hi Torabi, just putted my old player.dat file back to check. All bars were full. Also checked the file myself and couldn't find anything. With my player.dat file I have now I wasn't able to reproduce the bug yet. I'm actually clueless. Would it help if I put it in the "de-saturation mode" or reproduce it, then the file?
Hi Torabi, here's the player.dat file. I can assure you that the server is running in vanilla without a single mod installed. I'm the owner of the server so I can provide you with more files if needed. I can also make a more detailed video than the previous ones if you like. Just let me know, because I'm willing to provide every help I possibly can give you.
I forgot to mention that this started happening ever since 1.7.2 came out. Each other update after that one had the same bug for me. I should also mention I'm the only one experiencing it on the server. Related to that is that I'm the only one who's almost living next to where it's hosted, with a latency around 20ms
and.... I just reproduced it again.... after a couple of relogs though. When I wrote the post above I've actually tested it out for an straight hour by running and doing run jumps, nothing occured whatsoever related to this hunger bug. But after a couple of relogs I just got it again. Deleted my player.dat file again and straight 15 min without having this bug..couple of relogs later each and every single time I logged in got the bug whithin 5 minutes.
So my wildest guess is that something isn't saved right when I log of the server
ok first of all I feel that I should apologize a little for my last post, for my reaction that is. But still the fact remains that it is a bug, and shouldn't but put out "works as intended". I should have been more clear about it.
This is what happens: I log on, nothing wrong at that moment, I start run jumps the hunger/saturation goes down normally, a little bit faster then when in 1.6,4.
After a while, like 5 minutes, this hunger bug kicks in. The hunger goes down a bit quicker then when I logged in. But that's not a huge problem, the problem is that at this point the hungerbar depletes by itself, all the way down by standing perfectly still, about half a nugget every 10 seconds. This also caused the hungerbar depleting in the same speed as I was normally walking but on top of the normal walking speed hunger drainage, so about twice as fast. This depletion always happens when the saturation has gone, but that should be obvious.
I did a lot of research on it, on connection, the server-side, the client-side, even downloaded the map to my computer cause I wasn't able to reproduce it in my own single player worlds. That how I came to the conclusion that it was something the world files. Since I allready checked the worlds with region fixer I knew it wasnt a corrupted chunk or region file, Eventually I ended up deleting my player.dat file in the world I downloaded. The weird thing there was no option to get it really deleted, cause I shift-deleted my player.dat file but the moment I logged in on the world I downloaded I just came in that world in the same location where I logged of with the same tools and stuff. Maybe it has nothing to do with it but I'm just mentioning it cause you because you never know....
And then I deleted my player.dat file on the server...... Man this was a relieving thing!!! The bug is gone!!! So it had something to do with my player.dat file but still don't know what was in there what caused it.
But it also proves that this was a bug and that it is fixable! So I hope that this post gets seen by everyone who gets this litlle but nasty bug, try to delete your player.dat file or have it deleted by the owner! Just make sure you chest your stuff!
Like I said I hope this helps you out😉
This is bug, no denying in that and it doesn't work as intended! This happened to me througout 1.7.2 up to 1.7.4. it depletes way to fast, Only a relog fixes it, sometimes though. And it's quite annoying when you are trying to stream or make videos. Half of my "gathering" time where I collect resources now goes up in farming cows for stacks and stacks of steak. Where I used to rely on a 30 cow cowfarm I now can't even rely in 100+ cow farm. Fix Minecraft Mojang!! Instead of trying to make everything stable for Twitch. Don't even try to make a new version with additional stuff added yet, Fix the 1.7.* bugs first.

l saw I can download the file from here, going to load that one in and let you know how that one turns out.
ok that one is down to 5 hearts (because I'm on easy because of this) hungerbar indeed completely drained.
