Not resolved. They still spawn in 14w27b.
still in 14w27b. In a small lake, spawn a bunch of squid and 1 or 2 guardians. Fly above it in creative mode, and you will hear the guardians even when you are far above them.
The levers still pop off when toggled in 14w27b as @unknown said, but this happens no matter if they are newly-placed or existing. Is popping-off the intended behavior?
The east and west faces of Fire and Grass Blocks are darker than the north and south faces in 14w27b.
To narrow it down, this behavior started being observable in "snapshot 1.7". I tested each official and development version available in the official launcher from 14w18b down to 1.5.2. The behavior does not occur in 1.6.4 or earlier. In those, crops uproot in light 7 or less.
Still confirmed in 14w18b. Crops stay planted in any light. Hydrating the farmland does not affect it. Possibly duplicated by MC-48062.
Confirmed in 14w27b. The name is lost regardless of how it was given the name: whether an existing one was named with a name tag or whether a spawn egg was named with an anvil. In either case, the smaller ones do not retain the name of the larger one (point the the crosshair at them), and the player's death message (which the crosshair confirms) changes from the name of the larger slime to simply "Slime" for the smaller ones. I don't know if this is intended behavior, but the Mooshrooms were allowed to keep their names after being sheared (see the "relates to" issue).
