without structures you can still find giant nether brick walls in the nether
I expected to see a nether with no structures
What actually happened was I found giant nether brick walls
1. select create new world
2. choose creative
3. allow cheats
4. DO NOT choose bonus chest
5. choose superflat 'classic flat'
6. DO NOT allow structures
7. load the world
8. build a portal to the nether
9. enter the nether
10. near to where your portal spawns you will find giant nether brick walls

While the fortress itself is not a bug, the generation of them is if generate structures is set to false. But seriously "Giant Nether Brick Walls?", should 10 year olds be allowed to have accounts on here?

Do you even read the descriptions of issue tickets (just saying .. he wrote "DO NOT allow structures").
Btw, can confirm this, happens on my side too (13w21a), the game creates nether structures every time, even after selecting "no strucures".
It's part of Nether, not only for the sctructure creating set to true. Also, "flat and no structures" only applied to Anvil world, not Nether nor The End.
The fact that in each world I've tested the fortress also appears very close to the "Nether Spawn" tells me that the generation of them is linked to the first load of the Nether.
Errmm.... Friend, this "giant nether brick walls", are part of a structure called Nether Fortress... It's not a bug.
