Finally, the issue for half a year got fixed.
Can confirm fixed on iOS 12.5.7 and MC 1.20.15. The Marketplace didn’t load for me, I think it’s my session or something. I am lucky that this got fixed after my PS Plus finished so I can play servers.
I meant players like us can post workarounds. There are already some (Turn Internet off on startup), and please only post new information. If you want to discuss, you can do that in Discord or Reddit.
@Auzzz, This is a bug tracker. To discuss the issue you can find and chat with other community members on Discord or Reddit. If you want to discuss it with Mojang, you need to contact the Community Management team on Discord or their Twitter accounts. Comments here should provide new information for the developers, and workarounds are welcome. This report has an ADO number and is confirmed, so Mojang is probably working on this issue, and to remind you, there are a lot of issues to fix all at once.
Also, I am not from the Mojang Team. Mojang team members have a [Mojang] or [MCQA] Prefix.
@cavell, These are issues of the server plugin. You might go to the server’s website and report it.
Do not post comments, videos, etc. except if you have new information. This is to reduce clutter.
The game was crashing when the game is connected to the Internet on startup. I have an iPad Mini 3 (running iOS 12.5.7). The game was crashing prior to the 1.20.13 hotfix. Then it works as normal with 1.20.13. However, I opened the game and then crashed before startup. I tried to turn off the Internet before starting the game and it started then I turned on the internet. However, the Marketplace button never loads and it shows a weird code (I will attach the screenshot), and then it says “Invalid Session (Try Restarting the game)”.
He means Wi Fi with no Internet (To play LAN games).
Comment which device you were using.
The bug also cause the lava to move the player a bit. I will add the video for details.
The issue has been solved with me with v. 1.20.13. However, Snooky said it is still crashing in this comment. I am using an iPad Mini 3. Comment if it’s still crashing or not. Also report which version is your device, and which device. Also, don’t forget to update Minecraft to 1.20.13.
This is probably going to be fixed as in the change log https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/17824860671117-Minecraft-1-20-13-iOS-Only- , and the wiki https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Bedrock_Edition_1.20.13 .
The second video is still private. (Next time use the uploaded up for small/medium sized files)
The videos aren’t public.
When I tested the bug. I found that I can’t switch to fly mode.
If the world files where corrupted/deleted. There are tools for data recovery. Search “Xbox Data Recovery “ and there would be tools to scan the hard disk. There are also tools for other platforms. Just do not use the console too much.
Can you post a video while you are reproducing the bug?
Does the game crash when the internet is off?
This is a problem with the PS4 drive. Mojang can’t do anything about it, but I will give you some solutions.
Buy PS Plus to turn on auto upload.
Buy Realms.
Keep backing up.
Play on another device.
Buy an Inverter.
Wait until power outages aren’t a problem in your area.
You can also play servers to have your world updated. Some people use free hosting providers. (Good luck finding a good one) or Play realms (maybe it’s the price of your USB). You can play Survival server too. (Good Luck Finding a good one too (I know some decent servers though)). Good luck anyway.
iOS (12.5.7) and PS4, and the reporter had this problem on Android.
