This photo was taken on 1-17-25. Superflat world with no resource packs and global resource packe disabled. As vanilla as it gets. The issue appears to persist.
[media]I've done some experimenting and learned something. When a villager is unemployed their biome texture seems fine but as soon as they get a profession their biome texture turns black. I suspected a texture stacking glitch so I tried giving a villager a job as a butcher and then turning the profession texture invisible on a resource pack. The results were... interesting.
[media]The following screenshots are from a brand new world with no resource packs enabled and taken in the same village. One villager shows a normal biome texture and the other shows the black texture glitch but only where the biome texture would be.

Here are my system specs. Do you see anything in this that would lead to the problem?
[media][media]These screenshots are from a world on my Windows Bedrock Edition. The black textures have been an issue for my villagers for some time but only the biome textures. Base villager textures (as viewed using resource packs when you make the biome skin texture invisible) and profession/level textures are working fine so I can single out the biome textures as the culprit. I can also rule out the resource packs as this glitch occurs even when I have no resource packs active in the world except the obligatory Global Resources. Sometimes the biome texture will load for a single villager but may glitch to black after the villager gets a profession. I have also seen examples of biome textures righting themselves temporarily after reloading the world but being gone again on the next load. I have reinstalled Minecraft Bedrock for Windows numerous times and it has not fixed the issue.

This is on Windows Bedrock
Built a map world in superflat using levels to allow dungeons. Minecraft updated to 1.19 automatically and everything below y=0 is either gone or partially deleted. Here is an example of a partially deleted area with void visible through the holes.

I attempted an additional test and confirmed all textures work normally in Java Edition. So now I can narrow down the problem to Windows Bedrock Edition and just the biome textures.
