Still crashes on wayland, but in GNOME cleaning my .minecraft directory and starting fresh fixed the black screen.

Running classic gnome and it doesn't work, changed version to 1.8.8 and same thing now, i'm not sure why it doesn't work at all for me, maybe my system?

Just ran dnf update and switched over to wayland, and I still get the no opengl context error from 1.8.8. It's supposed to work better in new builds! Help developer! No cookie until it works... : )

my xrandr output when running wayland is below on fedora 23 x64
xrandr
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1920 x 1080, maximum 8192 x 8192
XWAYLAND0 connected 1920x1080+0+0 600mm x 340mm

So I think it's that bug referenced in redhat bugzilla but they mark it as cannot fix for them. I hope someone has a chance to check it out now that wayland is in widespread testing for fedora and going to be standard in 24 release.
