Exactly the same error, green screen after Mojong's logo, then the display driver loses response then recovers.
Quite old platform but worked very fine on old versions:
NVidia 7900GS 512M, Desktop PC.
This is my son's PC and he is really disappointed, he was so excited by the update...
Please fix this asap.
P.S. another desktop PC works no problem with NVidia GTX260.
No update for 7900gs, being solved by Nvidia is the last thing i wanted.
Maybe it's time to abandon this card.
