invalid, after using a nether portal none player entities have a 30 second cooldown before being able to use one again. (they must be not touching portal blocks for the cooldown to start)

the reason the pearl doesn't land is because it hits lazy chunks and stops getting processed, as shown in the video the user only was in the nether 3-4 seconds after throwing the pearl meaning there was no way the 15 second chunk loading ticket had expired before they entered the overworld

this is most likely WAI as using other none full blocks above the chest achieves the same effect
