When throwing an ender pearl into a nether portal, if the pearl takes too long to land, it will be unloaded and won't land unless you enter the portal yourself or another player loads the chunks, making this new mechanic unreliable.

the reason the pearl doesn't land is because it hits lazy chunks and stops getting processed, as shown in the video the user only was in the nether 3-4 seconds after throwing the pearl meaning there was no way the 15 second chunk loading ticket had expired before they entered the overworld
