This happens all the time for me too. It’s not raining. No thunderstorms. I’m not standing on soul sand. But for some reason the sky is dim and the clouds are dark as if it’s supposed to rain. As I know this happens a at random when you load into your world. However I could get this to happen when I create a new world. It seems to only happen to loading existing worlds. I couldn’t be wrong though.
Not a duplicate, skins won't even load as steve or alex. It just shows a little box that says reload. Click it and it plays a stupidly loud exp sound and says failed to load. Its on ps4 and mobile, mobile rarely loads them and ps4 hasnt loaded them in weeks.
my chat was hidden, thank you!
ive seen this on my sisters phone when they don't have an xbox account but if you get steve when your game starts up I think its just loading because I had that problem and it was never fixed I just changed to a custom skin not a paid and now it works
I reported a similar issue to a mod that changed the games renderer to Vulkan previously, so I believe this is the same issue as that mod. An user discovered that there is an underlying issue in GLFW, see https://github.com/glfw/glfw/issues/2748. As I understand it, the OpenGL renderer doesn’t set the color space to sRGB, so macOS assumes that it is Display P3. When sRGB colors are interpreted as P3, they get saturated (because sRGB uses different primaries than Display P3). Therefore, this is technically a bug solved, not created.
That said, as a Mac user who has gotten used to saturated colors over the many years I’ve run Minecraft on a Display P3 Mac, I would kind of miss this look.
