let me add on that this works on all tamed mobs near you and your cats and dogs will disappear too.
while this doesn not work everytime, there is a workaround where you unload that area and come back and some mobs may come back
this is happening on all bedrock platforms. especially switch.

everyone in the comments are claiming that whole mash up pack is gone. you guys are missing the skins and world as well??

okay so i think i found a fix? the day i made the original post i found out by opening my survival worlf which always had the mario texture pack on. On the day of the original post i opened it and it loaded in default and i found that the pack wasnt showing on the menus.
the day after i was wondering what the Mario world that comes with the pack would look like in default. (as i said before only the texture pack was gone. the skins and world were still there)
so i opened the mario mashups world and it loaded in with the texture pack on. i found that after opening that world i could find the texture pack in all its respective menus again. it seem like the game just... forgot(???) that i had it and opening an entire world designed specifically for the pack reminded it? i recommend opening a new mario world and maybe using a skin and it will come back.
