Please consider medical reasons to bring back the old d-pad. Please consider my autistic son. Minecraft is his one and only outlet of creativity, a game that allows him to regulate when dysregulated and is always there for him. This game is a part of his life in a way that other people and things cannot reach him. Autistic people have a hard time with change and Minecraft is his one thing that he can count on to be there for him. With the change of the D-pad, he is unable to play because the change is too overwhelming. He cannot medically process or adapt because he autistic. This is actually a traumatic experience for him. He is resigned to uninstall Minecraft and all of his beautiful worlds because he thinks he will never be able to play again with the new controls. You may think that he just needs to buck up, but it is not a simple matter. He has to adapt and change in every other aspect of his life and that is really taxing. Because Minecraft is a safe place for him, it enables him to be able to face the everyday challenges. Please consider my autistic son (I am sure I am not alone in this) and bring back the old d-pad. Thank you.
