agreed since update on 1.16.1 on realm's me and my wife have experience extreme lag while playing together i play on windows and she plays on the Xbox. 

we were playing up until the update for a couple weeks during the evening and once the update dropped everything went downhill. 

for example villagers freeze up or lie down in bed and start drifting across map while still sleeping other players disappear for long period of time along with a lot of unusual problems. we are not talking about regular place a block and it disappears issues here it some times makes the game unplayable especially when dealing in villages . 

just go back to old update or fix asap
