Not the same issue at all. I'm also realizing that the launcher no longer shuts itself down, when I have it set to in the preferences. The biggest issues here is the rampant spamming of the log file, which is creating 6 gigabyte files. Going to try a fresh install to see if that fixes things (even though this was a fresh install).
Also, I'm now realizing that there are now absolutely HUGE log files being generated because of this. My latest is 5.68 gigabytes and is full of:

Still an issue in 1.20.4 and the snapshots.
Steps to reproduce:
Hold shift and scroll.
Observed results:
Selector moves backwards
Expected behavior:
Selector DOESN'T move backwards.
