I am having the same exact problem and I tried all the same things. All I did was press logout to log out of minecraft and then ever since I cant log back in.
It says
Sorry, but we couldn't connect to our servers. please make sure that you are online and that Minecraft is not blocked (SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find calid certification path to requested target)
I have tried all the same things to fix it. FTB and technic run fine and I can log in and play on them both but regular mincraft does not let me sign in.
I have reinstalled and updated java, I uninstalled norton and disabled windows firewall. I have uninstalled and deleted all minecraft files and reinstalled and I still cannot log on to minecraft.. I can't find any solutions.
