thank you jenny. i didnt realize it at first because it said “latest version” and for some reason i was able to connect to my buddys realm still then i saw the version and got confused how i joined

well the launcher doesnt have the latest latest version but it does have the update i belive i was still having an issue with and typing worked on it

YOOOOOO found the fix. it has to do with the mc launcher. just use a different launcher like “minecraft bedrock launcher”. hope this helps everyone and also hope it helps the team fix this issue cause id really like to just use native launcher
