I can confirm that this is also occuring on both of my kids IPADS. 5th edition, Model MP2F2LL/A, IOS 13.3. My boys are super upset and ultra scared that their worlds that they have been working on for 2 years are gone. My fault for not getting them MS accounts sooner.
I just created emails for them and then signed them up. Once I was finished the sign up process the Minecraft app hanged and we closed the app and restarted. I then received the frozen loading screen.
Hopefully the dev's can find a fix and save their worlds. cheers.
