I'm Windows10 user and have the same problem. The Windos10 version meets the system requirements.
When I click on Microsoft login I get the error message "Something went wrong in the login process" instead of the screen to enter my login credentials.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall the new launcher from Microsoft Store and MinecraftInstaller.exe , I restarted my PC but nothing changed.
Fortunately, I remained the old minecraft unified launcher so I can still play Minecraft with the warning of "upgrade!!" everytime and without the newest snapshot.
