Ok. So, I get that the issue that I'm having is coded intentionally, but I'm not trying to link up portals or synch them up. My son and I were unhappy with the 1st Nether spawn( soul sand valley) so we moved to a distance we assumed was far enough away to enter a new biome in the Nether. And we link back up to the 1st Nether spawn. And when we exit the Nether, instead of us exiting through the 1st overworld portal, a new portal is generated.
Now from the MCPE 39609 bug report you showed us, that last part is intentional coding. So what do you suggest as part of game play that we do to break this condition of portals linking up as unwanted behavior.
