Can confirm this is still the case on 1.14.60 (PS4)
After updating to 1.14.4, I can now once again access my world!
Can confirm that it works on both local and realm 🙂

We're having the exact same issue over at MCPE-45862.
Wish I had the foresight to make regular backups.... Spent hundreds of hours building my world with my fiance. Hope this gets fixed fast.

As long as this issue stays unresolved, I will basically never be able to purchase skins, since player 2 can basically never have a skin at all. I can't be the only one.
You'd think a bug that's actively hindering people from spending money on the game would be higher up on the priority list.
