So they can jump and down elevations now, as noted in the changelogs, while interested in food, but as soon as they have landed they will walk away again.

This bug is evil. As soon as the cow tries to jump up the block it loses interest and starts walking away. Had to wait for it to jump up on its own free will, then try to get its attention and get it over to the next elevation and repeat.
