I just opened up Minecraft after the last update. I was able to run around and open/close gates, but the game completely froze (AGAIN!) when I tried to open my inventory. It froze for more than a minute, then the inventory came on screen, before freezing again. It has yet to start working. Seriously, man. What is going on?????

I updated Minecraft to the latest version just yesterday and... it did nothing 😞 I got past the generating world screen and was able to walk around for a good 15-20 seconds before everything froze again. My world is only 114MB. I attempted to close it from the Switch home menu, and I got an error message stating "the software was closed because an error occurred"

When are you guys actually going to fix this? You've closed and re-opened this case more times than I can count. This is ridiculous at this point.

I see my comment was deleted, even though several others were mentioning the same issues as earlier commentators.

I just opened my game again today and it actually froze during the "loading world" screen. I couldn't even get into my game. I've lost two worlds already due to them being virtually unplayable.

If you don't have the human capital necessary to address Switch users on an efficient and sustainable basis, then PLEASE at least give us our money back.

My 100MB world worked post-fix-update so long as I turned of all texture packs. However, this morning my entire world was hot pink. Trees, plants, flooring, etc. are all now either hot pink or magenta. Textures are still utterly broken, now the worlds are pink (whereas before they just froze randomly or during autosave). Please fix this, guys. This is getting ridiculous.

Play only seems to run smoothly when either running or walking in a world. However, anytime I attempt to interact with something around me (i.e. feeding animals, trading with villagers, picking produce), the game completely freezes. This was occurring on two of my existing worlds and trying to load either leads to a software crash.

I began a new world three days ago and it worked well for the first two until it began to behave in the same way as my prior worlds. The new world I created is less than 30mb at this point and the entire game will crash if I attempt to interact with the environment.

The game will no longer* close successfully. I save my game, exit, and then close it on the home screen. However, my switch will freeze as it tries to close out the game and I wind up receiving an error code.
