I have the same problem, both on iphone 7 and ipad 9. Minecraft crashes 4-5 seconds after starting a new world.
I thought my phone was not good enough for the DLC, however the same thing happens on the ipad. I have to explain my boy the possible reasons 5 times a day. Please fix it soon.
