The issue continues in 1.10 as well.
So I have a device that is still running 1.8 and I imported a copy of the affected world into that. It loads, runs and plays as expected. It is DEFINITELY the 1.9 update that is not 'playing nice' with my world.
Here is a link to the world that won't load (in case anybody feels like testing or Mojang want to take a more in depth look)
That appears to be different to my issue. In the screenshot provided for the other report, I see discoloured water, but no signs of the stripes of discoloured grass as in my report.
I have also recently revisited another one of my older world's and have noticed a big increase in the number of the passive mobs (sheep, pigs, cows, chickens, horses etc) AND on the same world, random patches of snow.
Just installed the latest version and the graphics error is no longer apparent on my sm-t210.
Cheers for sorting it Mojang.....
This graphics glitch has occurred on versions 0.14.99.0 and 0.14.99.2.....
For me, it has occurred on one of three android devices. The device affected is the Samsung galaxy tab 3.7 (sm-t210)
The other two unaffected devices are Samsung galaxy S5 and Asus ZENPAD Z170C-PO1Z
(Can't seem to attach images but this issue is really noticeable on quartz blocks......They go from white to 'rainbow multi coloured')
The 1.11 beta version of Minecraft Bedrock appears to have fixed the problem. My build now opens and plays as expected.
