A world I have been successfully building on for the last 2 years suddenly refuses to open after the 1.9 update. I know it is not my device as this world will not open on another device (windows 10 laptop) I also know it's not the world as another, known to be good, older save of the same world will not load either. I have also created an .mcworld file out of the world files (yes I know how to do this) and attempted to re-import the world into the game without success. The loading/import process begins but never gets past the point shown in the screen shot. The world itself is, because of everything I've built on it, about 60mb, but I've noticed that the size seems to have increased by +/-20mb subsequent to my trying to open it in this update.

So I have a device that is still running 1.8 and I imported a copy of the affected world into that. It loads, runs and plays as expected. It is DEFINITELY the 1.9 update that is not 'playing nice' with my world.
I am also having this problem on my Windows 10 version after the launch of 1.9... world size seems to be a factor (200Mb) just as it was the last update before they patched it.
can confirm, this happens on xbox one too, my world wont open and MB+/- as well and its 300mb world 5/6years old, sometimes if you force the game close re-open it the world would load but get loading screen when open inventory, and also chunks wont load beyond my base
The 1.11 beta version of Minecraft Bedrock appears to have fixed the problem. My build now opens and plays as expected.
Fixed in 1.11.0.8.
EDIT: According to an older bug report of the same user, he says that he's been working on it since 0.12 released.
