I'd like to know why in the workflow, this is labeled as "postponed". This is a game breaking issue for a lot of people. I think asking for this to be a priority is not asking a lot.
Can confirm 100% that this is a problem with the new update. I played the game for several hours on Sunday with not a single instance of mouse lag. Quit out completely and updated my game. And when I loaded it back up to start playing, immediately it was noticeable that the mouse was lagging horrible. Literally the only difference between my first session and my second was the update: I didn't use another program nor did I update anything other than Minecraft. This mouse lag is bad enough that the game is completely unplayable.
(On a side note, I find it ridiculous that this was posted as an issue in September and over three months later it has still not been fixed. I find it incredibly disrespectful to the players for such a big issue to have been ignored so long.)
@madlad3718 I'm exhausted with people coming in who don't even bother to do even a cursory glance at other people's comments. If you, and all the others, had you'd see that the trick you're listing is one that multiple people have listed by this point and that many people have stated it does not work for them.
As for the things you list that they added, they are only applicable to those with the correct (newer) graphics cards and people with older ones (and not even that much older, mine is only 2 years old) have received nothing good from this update. So, no, a lot of people didn't get the things you listed and the only thing they did get from the update was an unplayable game. Your comment lends nothing to this situation as the information is already known or meaningless to the point of this thread.
And, since I'm already here anyway, Mojang how is this not fixed yet? This was reported back in Sept. during beta and the update should never have been released until it was fixed. The update has now been out for months and this problem has still not been resolved (I checked my game yesterday). Please pay attention to this issue and fix it.
