There is another temporary workaround if Mega_Spud's doesn't work: the root cause of the bug seems to be the milk bucket and the last bucket of a stack seems to be the only one bugged (clicking on it or trying to move makes the milk disappear), just tap it twice when milking the cow and that should debug it, workaround video:
