Player 2 is a guest player on the Xbox One.
The Xbox One controllers were having connection issues, which we usually resolve by restarting the console. Before we exit the game, we usually put all of our items in chests because we have had issues in the past with items in guest players inventory, armor, or belt not being present when coming back to the game. So, after the controllers reconnected, the 1st and 2nd players placed all of their items from armor, inventory, and belt into two different chests. They then exited normally. First the guest player, then the 1st player exited normally with hitting save. After the game saved and exited, We navigated to the Xbox One home screen, quit the Minecraft application, and restarted the Xbox One console by holding the X-box button and going to Restart Console. After the Xbox One restarted, we went back into Minecraft, pulled up the previously saved game to find all items that had been placed in the chest, by Player 2, from that round were missing. Items that had not been removed and replaced in the last session were still in that chest though. The 1st players items were in the chest where they had been placed in the previous round.
No other players were in the game.
The expected results would be that items would not go missing from a chest.
