my comment was more than half a personal statement and definitely not just a declaration of the issue, lol. just sharing my frustration

i made an account on here after 9 years just to say how frustrating it is that you don't even have the option to mine these with silk touch because "they aren't supposed to be obtainable". i agree that it makes more sense to go to a geode for the sake of it being exclusive, but to not even have the ability to choose an alternative feels totally arbitrary and poorly considered. you're not supposed to mine ice, but that's what silk touch is for.

frustrating, because the original "glitch"- {_{}not hearing armor equip when equipping through the inventory}- was hardly an issue and more like a harmless long-standing quirk of the game
