Additional note #2: Nevermind the glitch does effect the inventory, but its more inconsistent there whereas the gui outside the game is more consistent

Like James wrote. The account who host the world most have an online account if the splitscreen should work. I needed to convert my daughters offline account to an online account. After this everything works fine again. I could play split screen again. My account is ofc. an online account also. Hope this will help everyone else.

Hi Carlos. Your way didnt work. But I got it to work. I made one online account for my child with parents control. After verifiering email everything works again with split screen.

I will see tomorrow if it works again or not. But strange that you need an online account to play split screen

The update 3.35 have still not fix this problem. We cant play Minecraft at home with the split screen. The user account who have the world is a local account.

Carlos, It behaves the same way for me as you show in your video.

Reddit confirms this has been an issue for over 2 months.
