I have the exactly same problem even I run the bds on a 5.1Ghz intel core i7-10700kf,some times server just goes crazily laggy when I have  more than 8 players online in the server,entities moves very slowly and the redstone works very slowly as well,and this problems shows randomly,sometimes shows up when a new player joins the server,sometimes shows up after I teleport a player to a new place.But when this problem appears,the CPU usage is not very high，which is really annoying,server becomes even unplayable when this problem appears.Please fix this and please optimize the performance of BDS in the next version!If even a i7-10700k can't run a bds well,then which kind of CPU can????Don't mess up the server owners just because the server software is in an alpha version,we do really care about our servers and players!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
