this is a place for issues with JAVA, not on how you didn't buy java edition.
if you have bought it, contact mojang support about it and don't create an issue here
Can confirm in 1.19.3, 1.19.4, 1.20, and 1.20.1.
Shaders is modded?
So if I use optifine on that server with shaders it's automatically invalid because it's "modded"
(Also another note, that server for the player who was asking for help downgraded to 1.19.4 and then back to 1.20 because of the visible bamboo stairs)
This isn't an bug, your world is just corrupted because you made a huge leap in minecraft versions causing new chunks that you haven't loaded to load new chunks from your current version.
That flat piece of land your standing on is NOT a new chunk. You've generated that chunk before, therefore it will not be touched.
