I am still experiencing this issue. Like the original poster said, this is not a problem with the keyboard and lag does not seem to be the problem as every other key works with no problem.
Steps to Reproduce: 1. User sprints or simply walks forward for a short period of time using the "w" key. 2. User lets go of "w" key.
Observed Results: The user continues to walk forward even though the "w" is not held down. Additionally, if the "s" key is held, the user wont move at all, as if both "w" and "s" are held down.
Expected Results: The user should stop moving when no keyboard input is being used.
The Original poster also addressed the issue of opening an inventory or chest while this automatic walk is taking place. If the user is stuck in this continuous walk forward and opens an interacts with any object, the w key will take extended period of time to even be usable again. Once again, every other key works except "w." I can walk backwards and sideways, use the mouse all without lag. The sole issue is with the "w" key.
