This is not a bug. It is how it should be. next time just use the kill command
If you downgrade minecraft all bugs(except for lag) will be fixed. (Though I don't want to do it) This is because of the latest updates and even other addons have been corrupted.
It is because of the new update. if you downgrade minecraft it will be fixed. But I am just waiting for it to be fixed.
