I just checked out beta build 3 and bedrock lost its weird texture so bedrock isn't one of those blocks
This was fixed in beta build 3 so this can go away
bedrock (looks really weird when its textures are flipped or upside down), some times the top of grass, dirt is affected too it looks really wierd. I saw the live stream but the volume was kinda low so I didn't hear if you said it was new or not.

I'm having the issue too. I went to try to farm xp and waited 5 mins and not a single skeleton spawned. This is irritating since I just got my Elytra wings on Vanilla survival and I can't use them with out an unbreaking 3 enchant. I cannot farm xp from my skeleton spawner and I'm on normal difficulty. Mojang please fix this issue soon. :,( I'm on windows 10
