Just ran into this one. I simply went past a woodland mansion window, Evoker saw me, and the vex just wouldn't stop coming even after I ran off far from the mansion. Sometimes eight at a time! Until this is resolved, clearing a woodland mansion is going to really tough on hard difficulties. Eagerly awaiting a fix.
Confirmed in 1.20.1, I've had two cats die in my pumpkin farm. In case it matters, the farm is set up in a grid pattern, like:
OXOX
XOXO
OXOX
As described in MC-159043 it'd be nice if either the pumpkin won't grow in a block currently occupied by a mob, or if the pet makes an effort to move out of the way, or if the pet gets moved to the top of the pumpkin that just grew (if possible).
In the meantime, I guess I need to tell my pets to stay before going to harvest pumpkins 😞
