Yes rendering through the clouds is a problem, as far as the level height of clouds in that specific game mode, its more of a feature request.

So...what's the bug? Minecraft wiki is community maintained and thus can contain inaccurate info or be missing info. If you are merely testing to see if terrain gen has changed then this isn't really the place.

The option functions as intended. It disables the mob completely. This is how the other mobs a work as well.

Cloud height is a fixed value, thus this works as intended. It also sounds like you used a mod to generate this, please report bugs found in vanilla only as the bug you think you may be finding might be from your mod and not from mojang.

Enderman function this way intentionally, thus this is a feature request not a bug. However I do agree, it would make sense for them to drop the block they hold.

Trip wires do work in mid air, I believe that its intended functionality.

This is a problem specific to your install. It shouldn't be posted as a bug.
