i had the problem with basalt as well, and with the warped vines, it shows that ive place it but doesnt produce a sound nor take it out of my inventory, also when i try to throw them out of the inventory with the down button on the dpad (xbox one) it wont leave my inventory. but i can pick them up and throw them out or put them in chests. also if i am holding one i cant open chests until i switch what i am holding, and i am having a bug where things placed into to second hand slot couldnt be removed and was behaving similarly to when i tried to through the ghost blocks out of my inventory. the the second hand slot bug can be temporarily fixed by re-logging, the ghost block seemed to not beable to be fixed by re-logging. also throwing them on the ground doesnt help. adding more to the stack doesnt help and putting them in a chest and taking them back out doesnt help either.
