Yes this issue still occurs in 14w31a
Affects 1.7.9. Seems to be large oak trees which are the culprits, although there may be others in the jungles, haven't checked.
Can confirm this in 14w19a
I believe this is a bug, not a feature request, as this grass and dirt generation is not being affected by adjusting the sea level, yet is defined by it as grass only spawns above sea level.
Edit: I have added "Note:" to the beginning of the paragraph which may have caused confusion.
So that killing spree I just went on wasn't strictly necessary? Oh well... better go on another, just to make sure!
Confirmed in 13w39b. On Mushroom island, breeding mooshrooms, two baby mooshrooms walked into the water, sank, and drowned.
Just sticking my oar in, so to speak:
Can this not be made a feature request? Because manoeuvrable boats would be a really neat feature, and it's not as if real life single-seater rowing boats are unmanoeuvrable. Quite the opposite.
I don't think many people understand the justification for the change, I think it's far more frustrating than the old "underwater boats don't float" change from Beta, which was later amended, but it was at least one that had some justification as "unrealistic" because of the use of boats for elevators. This one is just silly.
Confirmed in 13w36b playing Vechs' Pigget Panic.
Edit: version b, didn't try a.
Confirmed in snapshot 13w36b using world save "Ultra NormalCore" attached above.
This broke Vechs' Hostile Trails - Pigget Panic 😞
If a tree has vines on it, right up to the leaves, and you break the log two blocks below the leaves, and then the log directly below the leaves, the vines will remain where the lower block was.
Edit: reproduced in 1.6.1
Thanks, going to have to I think. I managed to get one more zombie villager while I've been waiting for them to breed... because one of the two villagers got bitten 😞 Lots of waiting now. And thanks! There's not much of it though! Not yet, anyway.
So I see. Guess I thought they stayed in the mood better than they do, just tried in 1.5.2 too and saw similar behaviour. Thanks for all the input!
Is that working for you? I'm still finding that they don't want to breed at the same time.
I was wondering that, that's why I went into creative in a different world to find a village, I added plenty of doors, killed off villagers until there were only two, and exactly the same thing happened.
It seems they're both able to get in the mood, but as soon as they do, they're not interested any more. It literally lasts for about a second. Maybe if there were a lot of them they'd have a better chance, but with only two, they're just not both in the mood at the same time.
Edit: Pruned world attached.
Thanks, in the meantime, I've just tried a third world, tried to build an infinite villager farm. Going to leave it for a while while I go and get some coffee, see if anything happens.
It's 96 MB, so not really. But I just went into creative, used Amidst to find a village, killed off the villagers and started from scratch and had the same issue (I wasn't sure if maybe it was caused by my house design). I could MCEdit my save to only include the "village"?
Just loaded up the attached world save in the pre-release, there's still just as much lag.
