Still present in 13w43a.

It certainly would have its uses though, say you have multiple blacksmiths, one of them sells armour you want, the other does tools, but you can never remember which is which. A quick glance at them could reveal them to be "Armour Guy" and hey presto, no checking every blacksmith you have. I think by far one of the easiest ways to fix this would be to have shift-clicking do the rename, especially seen as shift-clicking on an entity is definitely a thing now that this is how we handle horses.

Can confirm it's still present in 13w23a. Though to note, as I don't see this mentioned here: This only seems to occur if you haven't already started typing anything, if you type g and then hit tab, you'll correctly get the list of gamemode, give, and gamerule. Same also appears to apply to any arguments the commands take, if you've started typing, you're good, if you're hitting tab with nothing entered, you're gonna have a bad time.

You're gonna need to provide some more info than this title gives, you haven't really explained what exactly you have an issue with.

Launcher remembers my password just fine, however the auto-login checkbox is presumably disabled because it isn't yet implemented. Or are you perhaps referring to the command-line auto login? That's potentially not implemented in this version of the new launcher too.

If you can provide more info that'll help the devs find the problem quicker.

Did you do this in creative or survival? It's likely that if you're in creative, it's just creating doing its thing and not using up the item. The armour should then pop off the horse as well because you may want to change it.

Can confirm, happens for me too.

You might want to re-read this issue.
1) Your bug is marked as resolved because it SEEMS at a quick glance like a duplicate.
2) Your computer crashing can do ANYTHING, it has the potential to corrupt the operating system itself, so it can do whatever it wants to minecraft. Save data issues due to COMPUTER crashing are NOT bugs, the game itself and itself alone crashing however, are.
3) Even if this was the case, the game doesn't update every time a single bug gets resolved. You have to wait for the game show you a new update message. Force updating won't change a thing.

Just to add, this is inconsistent with that of the bow. A bow with Flame will actually cook any dropped meat. This behaviour should apply to swords too.
