Don't worry about fixing this. It crashed all copies of my world and lost all my progress. Every time I load up a bank up it eventually crashes and corrupts as well. This has absolutely ruined my otherwise wonderful experience with minecraft.
I'm having a similar issue except it's letting me download, then just fails to import it to my system.
