Come on guys ! This is open for over a year ! The actually issue here is that it never triggers the sync with the server(the syncing prompt that you see that will download the saves from the cloud). I tried removing local save file, then resetting the whole console and reinstalling Minecraft but nothing works ! The prompt never appears to be able to sync ! Of course trying to login from settings does not work either !
Recent August update seem to fix the issue ! I was finally able to login and sync my profile on Xbox!
