Confirmed for 1.14.1 (single-player world on linux mint 19 tara) – I had 12+ iron golems until I started killing them off;  it seems as if a new iron golem spawns each game-day, regardless of how many are currently present in the area. Iron golems are also grouping together instead of wandering around. (Note: this world was created in 1.13.x and updated to 1.14.1.)

This issue is present in the 1.13 pre-releases. "Clipped" trees seem to only occur when the trunk is on the edge of a chunk. (Clipping may occur when the trunk is not on the edge, but may simply be more noticeable when it is.)

Attached an image [2018-07-02_12.24.13.png] showing clipped trees and a giant red mushroom in 1.13-pre5.

This issue appears to be present in 1.13pre-3 (and probably earlier snapshots) in single player games.

This is also happening under Linux Mint 18.3 Sylvia with OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_162-8u162-b12-0ubuntu0.16.04.2-b12) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.162-b12, mixed mode).
Took 3 wooden pickaxes to make a stone pickaxe which had an effective durability of 0. Wooden axe performed just as poorly. Seems kinda-sorta game-breaking, but only if you don't like a challenge.

p.s. single player survival
steps to reproduce:
1. start a new world, any new world, with a new character.
2. try to craft a furnace.
