1) This glitch is well known, do some research before reporting
2) There is absolutely no reason why you would need to travel 8 000 000 blocks in one direction, so this isn't that important.
You're holding the wrong button (if you are on windows 10). You need to press right click just once shortly. If you are on a mobile, tap on the beenest/beehive. It's just the same as you would place a block, but with shears or a bottle in your hand, whatever device you're on.
