I MAY HAVE A SOLUTION!!!! Now this problem has happened to both me and my friend and the method, I'm about to share, fixed it for both of us. Now I'm going to list the steps because that will be easier to read. to access your Minecraft saves go to settings->storage->system storage-> internal storage (the one in the ps4) > save data>Minecraft
1) I would HIGHLY recommend you back-up your Minecraft save to a USB. Also copy all of your saved storage on ps plus to the system.
2)(optional) Make sure there are no saves on a different ps4 under your account. If there is copy it over to your primary Ps4
3) Now go to your Minecraft save data. you will notice there are some pictures of Alex's face with a gear next to it. Select all the boxes above and including the picture of Alex with the gear. delete them now (THIS WILL WIPE ANYTHING YOU DID ON BEDROCK )(you may be able to bring the bedrock worlds back if you have them on a USB and bring the world saves (not the Alexes) back after the tutorial.
4)Now scroll down, you may notice there are some pictures of steve with diamond armor, the first time there are 2 of them and the second time there are three of them. Now between the 2 of them and 3 of them is there a picture/ save data that is the same as you would have if you first made the world/ a landscape that you did not leave the game looking at. if yes select it and everything above it. If not send an image to this chat and I will be happy to tell you what to delete. What the weird landscape was was a bad save causing the game to mess up and later on cause the game to think you don't have ps4 Minecraft. (NOTE anything you delete will be gone (in case you were unsure)).
5) Restart Ps4
6)Boot up Minecraft
7)Happy face, if not chat in this server so I can of someone else can assist.
8) Make fun of Mojang for having a kid figure it out and not them 🙂 (I love you Minecraft still)
Same problem for me but I had the ps4 edition for almost 3 years digitally and the edition button disappeared on me
you know how you usually save the game by looking at what you build/did. there will be one bad save that will have an image of a landscape, not of your creation. You can also take a picture(s) and send them here so I can tell you what to delete and what to not delete.
