This problem is happening to my switch as well despite my having deleted and reinstalled minecraft multiple times (including all saved data) in an attempt to resolve the issue. I've also done complete reboots of my switch system, which have not addressed the issue.
The crashes have not been limited only to the Jurassic World DLC either. The game consistently crashes when trying other DLC content as well, including the Ice Age DLC. My son suggested putting DLC-specific skins on our characters before starting up the DLC to see if that would resolve the issue, but again, the crashes persist.
I've noticed that the Switch version of minecraft has become substantially less stable after the 1.19.20 update despite all the supposed bug fixes that came with that version. It's been an incredible source of frustration considering the money we've invested into the game, only for none of the DLC to work. A refund is, at the minimum, warranted if these issues cannot be resolved immediately.
I am experiencing the same problem and have deleted and reinstalled the game multiple times (including scanning for corrupted files through the Switch's data management option). However, the problem persists. I'm currently reinstalling the game after having deleted all save data as well to see if this resolves it and will update my comment once the reinstallation is complete.
Also, the error screen does not display an error code when the game crashes (I've uploaded a screenshot above for reference).
EDIT: I was able to resolve the issue by not only deleting the game, but deleting all the save files associated with the game and then doing a reinstall. However, BEWARE: if you don't have a microsoft account linked to your Minecraft game, then you'll lose all your purchases from the minecraft store (like I just did). But so far, local split screen now works with no error codes or crashes (though I'm annoyed that minecraft doesn't link to my existing nintendo account, causing me to lose all my in-game purchases just because I didn't have a microsoft account logged in; seriously, why? That's extremely anti-consumer).
I have noticed that the problem is not limited to the Jurassic Park dlc (it also crashes other dlc's, like the Ice Age one). Part of the issue may have to do with the texture packs used in those dlc's, and some glitch that was introduced in this latest update that causes the game to crash when different texture packs are used.
For example, any time I use the Ice Age texture pack or the natural textures pack (that comes included with the Switch version of Minecraft), the game crashes in the exact same way that it crashes whenever the Jurassic Park dlc is loaded. Clearly, there's something that's causing the game to crash not because the dlc itself is defective, but because Minecraft's ability to use a different texture pack is compromised in some way.
Like the other parents on this thread, my kid keeps asking me multiple times whether the "Minecraft people" have fixed the problem, and so far all I have to offer him is that more people are complaining about the problem, but not that the issue has been fixed.
