Ok it isn't working anymore. Please mark this bug as invalid.

When I have the time, I will rescreenshot.

Oh I forgot to mention, in survival when I try this, it stops me from applying Soul Speed 1 to the pickaxe, but allows Soul Speed 2 and 3.

I was in survival mode. I changed my game mode after I saved the screenshot of the F3 menu.

This is on singleplayer and still happens.

I'll try on Vanilla (The mods are just for performance improvements).

No I am in survival mode.

Still fails. Nothing changed other than the error message saying that I needed to login to the Microsoft Store, which I am.

Have you tried using your own JDK? (https://jdk.java.net/17)

Have you tried reinstalling the Launcher? The launcher log information seems like some important runtime files are missing OR there is an issue with the connection to the Minecraft data server.

Did you check your firewall settings? Or (another way to word it/do it) did you decline any firewall notifications to allow the Minecraft Launcher to access the internet?

How do you recreate this issue?

I experienced this too. The way I was able to fix this was by opening the 'Keychain Access' app, finding all of the 'mojangTokenService' entries and deleting them. Then I logged in again, went back to the 'Keychain Access' app, two-finger clicked the new entry, went to the 'Access Control' tab and added Minecraft.app to the list by pressing the '+' icon in the left hand corner. After you have done that, press 'Allow all applications to access this item' and press Save Changes. After relaunching the Minecraft app, you will not see that keychain popup again.

[1] Yes. But instead of being a 'Something went wrong' error, it throws a 'Please sign into the Microsoft Store' with the same error code.

[2] Yes

[3] Yes

[4] Yes

[5] Yes

[6] No

[7] There isn't really any steps to recreate the issue because of how obscure it is. I installed the Launcher normally like any sane person would. That's it.

Me too. It is infuriating.

Same exact error code too.

Turns out 1 of my fans were spinning at 80RPM and the other one was spinning at 5200RPM. Had to modify the 2nd fan's thermal multiplier up to the max (which was 20x) and it started spinning at 1700RPM. I no longer have these thermal shutdown issues. So it had nothing to do with Minecraft, HP just did an awful job at their BIOS updates.

I now request this "bug" report to be closed.

If it was, it wouldn't be doing a good job if it was melting my laptop (373K = 100*C)
