The issue is solved on beta 1.2.20.1 .
Having the exact same problem on MCPE android with no mods and stock settings and textures. This problem can be reproduced by gathering many(over 50?) mobs in a small area.
Invisible sheeps eat grass and invisible villagers planting the crop still occurs. Can be confirmed by looking at the dirt block and the sound effect. They can't be interacted when invisible(5-6blocks proximity).
Mobs may be killed by bow and items may be burnt by lava from far, though it will not solve the issue.
This issue is not happening in freshly created world.
Only affecting my main wrorld which has many mobs fenced and redstones working.
Tested on Android.
