When playing either single player or multiplayer my pointer will move onto my cross hairs then my game will pause on its own. Sometimes it will pause on its own without the pointer appearing. This happens randomly. Please fix this as it can be frustrating when I PvPing, fighting mobs, etc.

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]
) to this ticket.
Pokechu22 do you mean mod or texture pack/resource pack when you say background program? I don't use those anyways. And Kumasasa so I press F3+C for 10 seconds then type in my pause problem in the report on the launcher?
A background program is any program other then minecraft in this case, internet, mcedit, skype, etc.
Just attach the report here, yes.
At times I would have Skype and my internet open, but other times I could just have MC open and it would still do it.
@unknown, can you give me more info about what device you're running on? Is it a Mac? Or something else?
Sure, I'm using macOS High Sierra (Version 10.13.6) . I also noticed it began happening after I installed a system update. Thanks by the way!
Unfortunately I know very little about the issue and I can't help too much, but I can at least reopen it. Can you check if 1.14.1 is also affected?
This sounds like a background program temporarily taking focus. While I'm not entirely sure of the cause, you might want to press F3+P while in-game so that the game no longer automatically pauses when that happens; it'll at least make it less problematic when it does.
