The End Stone Bricks crafting recipe is missing

Yes i know that, BUT If you think about it Crafting Recipes DO NOT "Accidentally" Go Missing, so until you see [bug] Fixed it's most likely the truth. and still it makes sens since they'd be as valuable as dirt with the crafting recipe, and i don't see castles or dungeons made of dirt. and there are somthing i'v seen changed but where never in the changelog at https://mojang.com .

"Some" of the "changes" and "new features" are "not 100% finalized" and we are going to "improve and balance" them in the upcoming snapshots.

Most noticeable is the lack of sound effects for some of the new things in the game. There is no need to report them as bugs as we are fully aware of the issue and our sound magicians are already working on it.

Reporting bugs on our bugtracker is the best way to tell us about "things that are horribly broken or even crash your game."

Please make sure the issue is not already reported before posting a new ticket.

Sure they do: someone needs to to add a recipe for crafting magma. They open the file that defines all the recipes, and intend to copy the last line in the list (for end stone bricks) and modify it. But they accidentally modify it without copying the line first, thus deleting the recipe for end stone bricks, and no one else looks because it's supposed to be a simple change.

If you compare the decompiled source of the recipe class between 1.9.4 (class aga) and 16w20a (class agg), it looks like this could well be what happened. Thus this bug, asking Mojang to either confirm the removal or fix it.

just like the bug i reported but that may just be a w.i.p side affect.

Fixed in 1.10 pre2, but the recipe ratio is incorrect. Four end stones craft into 1 end stone bricks; previously 4 end stone made 4 end stone bricks.

This is for the lack of a recipe, which has been fixed. The other is for the incorrect output of a recipe.

Well the original recipe still is technically missing and it's easier to say the fix didn't work in a ticket that already has attention from the developers.

@unknown we don't have confirmation yet whether or not this might be intended even.
Not all crafting recipes give you a "proper" amount of other blocks, e.g. 3 snowblocks only give you 6 snowlayers.
2 wool blocks make only 3 carpets.
4 sand give only 1 sandstone.
If endstone is considered something similar to sand, then an endstone brick being a version of endstone makes sense that it only yields in a ratio of 4:1, but then again its lower hardness and blast resistance would make no sense and should be changed in my opinion.

I'm just going by what the original recipe was. It's unlikely that ticket will be seen soon.

Don't worry, devs have been made aware of it.

And my argumentation is, if they already had to reimplement this crafting recipe, they should have been very aware of a difference between "64" and "16" (unless they were very very tired), so for me it doesn't look unintentional.
I don't think it'd be a gamebreaking bug or rather problem, in case it is one, if this is being overlooked for the release version, there are way more important bugs to be fixed.
Let's be happy the crafting recipe is back at all. It's not a biggie in my opinion if they'd change it back from 16 to 64 again in 1.10.1 or 1.10.2.

Those blocks are ugly to begin with anyway.
